DISPUTE ADVISORY MANAGER, AMERICAS
Based in Greater Montreal, Canada
Reinaldo Scannone manages DAC Consulting Services' Dispute Advisory practice across the Americas, with a focus on the United States, Canada and Latin America. Based in Greater Montreal, he works with law firms, in-house counsel, insurers, owners and contractors to define technical issues, identify and engage the right DAC expert, and assemble multidisciplinary teams for litigation, international arbitration and major insurance claims.
Reinaldo supports the full expert engagement lifecycle, from evidence review and report development through expert meetings, hearing preparation and cross-examination support. His approach preserves the expert's independence while helping ensure that opinions are clearly reasoned, based on verifiable facts and traceable to the underlying record. He has prepared and supported experts and attended cross-examinations in ICC, ICSID and other international proceedings, both in person and remotely. He has also been questioned by court-appointed experts in Abu Dhabi.
His work brings together technical disciplines with forensic delay, project controls and quantum. DAC's capabilities include civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, process and pipeline engineering; materials and metallurgy; marine and offshore; power generation and renewable energy; and other specialised fields.
An Industrial Engineer with nearly 20 years of professional experience, Reinaldo has worked on more than 80 assignments during his eight years at DAC involving disputes, major claims and forensic investigations across Oil & Gas, energy, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing and industrial facilities. His own technical practice includes forensic delay and schedule analysis.
His hearing experience also contributes to DAC's tailored in-house training for legal and technical teams on expert report quality, evidence traceability, hearing readiness and cross-examination preparation. Reinaldo works fluently in English and Spanish and has intermediate proficiency in French.
